I just recently picked up an EVO and I am loving it. I am currently running CM7.0.3.1 and my GPS is being pretty flaky. It will work with google maps perfectly. Almost instant signal lock and everything. As soon as I try to use navigation, it looses signal completely and will not get it back. Any ideas?

you need to be in a sense rom to do the msl code. aosp roms will not let you do it. so yes you need to flash into a sense rom.

i didn't realize he was saying go to a sense rom, don't think I had the problem in a sense rom though?! what is up with that?
anyway, if i were to put my msl in wrong or something will I be hosed?
Thanks again!
i'm no sure. it can't be that hard to enter the msl code correctly. never heard of any issues. just follow the directions. not exactly sure what is up with some of the aosp roms like that but gps seems to be the one that needs fixing the most.

LOL!! U owe me a keyboard! I just laughed out loud and spit vodka and iced tea all over it when I saw that pic!
I gotta say tho.... as much as I dislike apple... we have an ipad, and I do think its the best tablet out there... Its so easy to use, even my 2 year old has it down!
That said... my evo is still better!

I used an app in the market to find it for me and wrote it down, let me see if I can find it for you. Who knows, you might get an Ipad out of the deal!
