Default Need help w/CM7 and voice mail issues... What am I supposed to install? (Sprint)

I flashed Cyanogenmod 7.1.0 on an Evo 4G on Sprint service and now I get text messages that say I need to call 408.970.0000 to get my VM. When I called it I got a recording about having a smart phone with SMS or something or another and I wasn't sure what it asked me but I pressed option '2' and it said something to the effect that it would continue sending me SMS voice mails but that's not what I want. I don't like getting the cryptic text messages and would much rather have the previous VM solution I had. I think it's called visual voice mail or something to that effect. If I want that back and to do away with the SMS notifications what are my steps? Can anyone help me out or link me to a how to and how to resolve my voice mail issue?

Thanks for the help.

You need to flash the gapps file that is under the aosp part in the roms and kernel sticky thread. that will give u the voicemail you had with the sense roms and all the google apps

yeah just like mike said the easiest way is to just flash the gapps file in the sticky and then make sure that your vvm is provisioned by going to it and see if the intial welcome message is there. if it isn't then you need to compose a message to yourself and send it. that should get you provisioned and then you are good to go.

The Latest Gapps does not have the Sprint Visual Voice Mail you need:
gapps-08222011-vm has it but don't remember where I got it. Here is a copy of just the voice mail app I used it in Evervolv-Acies which I'm running right now and it works great.

I'm assuming because its a Sprint app and not really a Google app but we all know what happens when one assumes

Thanks for the response but I would really rather not install all the gapps again because I have already done that then individually installed inverted or otherwise different versions of the individual apps within gapps so I would rather not undo all that and have to do it all over again.

just install it with a file manager like es or astro. no need to use tb, unless you have some messages you want to keep. in that case you can restore data.

I don't really care about saving any messages (I don't think) but I do have a couple waiting that I got text messages about that I haven't taken the time to retrieve so here's to hoping this straightens me out so I can get to them w/o putting additional time into this as I've just been really busy lately.

I think that was the easiest I have ever installed visual voicemail. I usually have to backup, flash to a sense rom, install voicemail, back it up with titanium, flash back to CM, then restore voicemail.

Thanks for APK!

I installed voicemail.apk and my voicemail works like it used to pre-cm7 - almost. I'm certain it used to play thru Bluetooth, and now it does not. Bluetooth does work on phone calls. Is there something I should do, or is this a cm7 thing?
