Have you called sprint This sounds like a network or tower problem. I have had this happen once but when i retried it went through.

What ROM and radio are you on?

I do agree it sounds like a network problem. If your on an old radio though I'd suggest an upgrade

Agreed. If you didn't just flash a radio update, I would suggest getting the new ones, then flashing to a Sense rom and updating both profile and PRL. You can't update them on AOSP. If that doesn't work, then put something stockish on your phone and call Sprint (in case they need you to enter some commands that wouldn't work on an aosp rom).

BTW, here's the link to the most updated combo pack. Flash in recovery. Just make sure you have plenty of juice in your battery (let's say at least 75%)

Just to add a little to this make sure your battery is atleast 50% or more before attempting to update your radios and do not pull battery nor attempt to turn phone off during the update. Radio updates can brick your phone if you are not adherent to these. I recommend you have no less than 75% battery life but thats just me being cautious.

Alright guys thanks I found out that it was a tower because once I left Upland I had perfect signal and o could make calls and text, but I'm going to update my Radios right now, if only I had my laptop everything would be simpler....
