Everytime I install a new Rom or Kernal I must pull battery
Does anyone else experience this? Everytime I've installed anything new through recovery - a Rom, kernel, GAPPS, whatever - it never gets past the first white HTC Evo boot screen. I let it sit there for 30 minutes once, nothing. I pull the battery, turn it back on, and it reloads. Anyone else have this happen to them? It is the result of something faulty?
never happened to me (as far as i can recall) but then again ive been using amon ra for over a year. I only bring up the amon part cuz i do recall some weirdness from when i used to use clockworks recovery. What recovery do you use? If its CW, install amon ra. Its super easy to install the new recovery, buy beware that your cw nands cannot, i repeat, cannot be restored in amon's 2.3 version and vice versa. That being said, if you do switch to amon ra, id still keep your first nand that you made after rooting with your radio keys n so forth cuz it is possible to flash cw back and restore it... ok, im shutting up now. This is the result of 2 green monsters while at work today LoL

Are you wiping correctly? This reeks of clockwork and/or not wiping. You should never have to pull the battery if you are wiping and installing correctly.
