Back to Stock
Is there anyway for me to get my evo back to stock so I can go to Sprint for help with ny phone? I don't want them to see that I messed with it and not cover the problems I'm having.
For some reason I have a dead spot in the center of the screen. I can't move icons up or down past the center because of it. And you can even notice it stop scrolling when browsing we pages.

ok so we need some more info first.
so do you have s-on or s-off? what is your hboot?
do you want to unroot? or do you just want to flash a stock rom(this is what i would recommend)?
and if you want to unroot, there is really no need. sprint has a new policy about rooting, but they do not really advertise it so many do not know about this....but please read the experience of one of the devs putting the policy to the test: Sprint Policy Put to the Test

If you have wiped system and flashed a new rom you can rule out software issues
Moreover, sprint has to treat rooted users the same as everyone else. Personally, I'd flash the stock Rom and tell them the issue. No reason to unroot.

If we know the hboot # maybe we can try an RUU before you take it back. Maybe it'll fix it. You're probably looking at a hardware failure tho.

I think pretty much as long as you have insurance and a sense ROM they will more than likely just replace the device. Only need to change ROMS if its AOSP I would think.

S-Off, working on 1.12
if I could get by with stock Rom I would like to go that route.
