Default Best MP3 sound quality?

Is there a program that runs on the EVO that produces the best sound quality while listening to MP3s? I have some Shure headphones that I use with my itouch and they sound great. The EVO sounds just "OK". Anyone have a player that they use that works better than others? Maybe one with an EQ?

I am using (3) cubed as my player and like the features, but just wish the sound was a little better.

Ideas?

quality should not be affected by a app
quality comes from the source which is the actual mp3
u have to just find higher quality mp3s
i have most of my songs at 192 bitrate and my favorite songs i usually have in flac

I always get 192-256kbps. They sound much better! 320 is even better but they start to take up to much room for not a huge noticeable difference.

Try the same song at 128 and 256 and you'll see a big improvement!

Thank you..they are encoded @ 192kbps and they still sound better on the ipod touch. I was hoping to find a software EQ that might help with the EVO.

Appreciate the responses.
