Default U Connect and my phone

Ok after bricking my phone and getting a replacement I would like to pair my phone with the U Connect sys in my Dodge and when I hit the U connect set up it says phone is not available, wtf ? I scanned for devises none found tried everything, when I paired my fist phone it was hassle free done in 5 min, now I dont know what I'm doing wrong ?

I'm assuming in UConnect you went into "UConnect phone setup" then "Phone pairing" then "Pair a phone" ?

Did you delete the old phone from the stereo? I had problems pairing my EVO after I did a hard reset...until I remembered I never deleted it from the car!

The car will have issues with your replacement phone since it's the same phone type. Try deleting the old phone from UConnect first.

Linked right away on my SRT8

Delete all phones from the memory of the U Connect and start over.
