Default 2.2 Users, is there an "Edit Event" in your stock calendar app?

I noticed that when I'm in Event Details and press Menu, it'll only give me:

Add reminder
Delete Event
Share vCalendar
Agenda

But no "Edit Event". In order to edit an event I have to long press while in the Agenda or Day View listing. Anyone else noticed this? I swore on 2.1 "Edit Event" was an option.

I just checked and I have Edit Event in my menu (for both the HCT and Android calendars). I'm running 2.2 unmodded.

Are you long pressing the event or are you in the details and click on menu?

Mine works fine as long as I created the event. Long press in agenda view or menu while in detail view both allow me to edit

this'll be a mystery i guess, i'll just live with it. thanks for checking

I've got "edit" ability both by long press as well as menu in the event ... This was true when using STOCK and now rooted as well ...

Sorry, just checked back on this thread. It's in both details and long press.

When in details and I click on menu, the 'Edit event' is available.

I can also long press the event and receive the following options:
- View Event
- Edit Event
- Delete Event
- Share vCalendar
