Default Disk drive mode not working when connected to my cd player

Cd player just says "no music". Is this cause of being rooted? Is there anything I can download to get it working?

What do you mean you are trying to connect it to a cd player? A car cd player? What model? Its possible it cant read the sd card on the phone, or the music may need to be in teh root of the sd card.

So your head unit in your car hooks up to any external disk and lets you play the music off of it? That's pretty neat. Do you have the USB Debugging on? I know they told me to do that when I rooted.

Make sure phone is set to hard drive and that ian debugging is on. My jvc has this feature too. Haven't tried with the phone but I have a 200gb travel drive I hook up to it all the time

It would really help if you told us the MODEL like I asked. Then I can read your manual for you and figure out why it wont work.
