Default I forgot my pattern and email! Does anyone know how to unlock the phone without them

i forgot my lock pattern, and i guessed to many times and it sent me to the email, saying to put the email and pass word in to unlock the phone, and i forgot the password to the email... does anyone know how to unlock the phone?

good question.

hope you can figure this out.

last resort.. take it to the carrier service center.
I am sure then can reset the phone. but you loose everything, and you cannot get google to sync the info back.. because you forgot that email password!

Get on a computer, go to google.com, sign in, then I believe if you say you can't remember your password it will generate one and send it to the secondary email address you registered with.

hopefully you set your pc browser to remember your password.
then change it to something you can remember!

I initially thought he stole it too but after reading all of his post it's believable to me that he just forgot it. Everything these days logs in for you so you almost never have to remember a password except for when you log in the first time. Seeing as how many people didn't use a gmail account before getting their phone and made one especially for it, they only have to log in once.

I'm not saying he did or didn't steal it, I'm just saying I'm open to the possibility that he's on the level. Besides, if he was stealing it to use he could just flash it.

i personally only use my google mail for this phone.. was created for this phone. I do not go there for any other needs.

example.. Pandora ... I always have a hard time remembing that one... every time I do a resetup of my phone.. that one always gives me trouble to remember!

I think a few people here are jumping to conclusions. The OP only ever said he forgot his password, not his email address.

Even if he had forgotten, so what? Not everybody uses gmail. Lots of people create their gmail account when they first get the phone, and they don't always realise it's importance. A few months down the line it's not unrealistic that they have forgotten it. Hell, I once even heard of the sales reps setting up gmail accounts for people without telling them.

sarahkogut, try entering your email address and the enter the password as the word null . Sounds strange, but it works pretty often.

If that doesn't work, go to the gmail website and click on 'Can't access your account?'. You might be able to recover your password there.

I thought about that after I posted and read his/her screen name again.

If it is a chick then it's no surprise at all that the lock pattern and password were forgotten. You wouldn't believe what my wife can forget. lol

Welcome to the forums, ortiz401 . I'm going to guess you stumbled across this thread from a search or something, and didn't realize you were in the Evo section. I'm sure that is how you do a factory reset on a certain phone(s), but definitely not the Evo . Don't worry, though, we've all accidentally done stuff like this before.

pull the battery and let it boot up ...

but you still have to remember your gmail account and password. or you will loose all your contacts, appointments, and apps you own on google play.

what are some wifi networks that your phone has been connected to in the past? go there.. so that your phone can find internet access.
