emails won't stay deleted from oem mail app

I have my hotmail account set up through the standard EVO mail app, and every time I delete the emails from the app, they pop back up in my inbox as soon as I refresh it. I downloaded k9 email, but I really do not like it at all and would like to get my oem email app working properly.

some of the Email apps are really just ment for viewing your new emails and in order to delete them you have to go onto the website and do it. Now thats for SOME of the email apps...
