Question Unrooted backup to save game state?

Does anyone know how to save game progress data? (I'm unrooted, so can't use titanium backup). Other posts mentioned use of some apps on the marketplace, but there are relatively few downloads/reviews on those, so a little concerned about using them).

Any thoughts? (I assume that the game progress will get wiped out along with all apps when I update the software)

You need to be rooted to fully back up apps. There really is no way around this.

Not necessarily, I believe Mybackup can do this w/o root.
