Compass/Maps problem after update

After my update, my compass (app) and compass feature in Maps is busted. My wife hasn't done the update yet and her EVO is perfectly fine (we bought them at the exact same time).
I've tried the calibrate thing (waving it around in the figure 8) and the tilting it specific ways, as well as deleting cache info for Compass and Maps and restarting my phone a couple times.
What gives?
NOTE: The compass seems to weirdly respond to which direction I TILT the phone, not which direction I am FACING.

I'm havimg the same issue... After the update the compass does not work.
