4G doesn't turn on - please help

Just noticed that 4G won't turn on.

I went into Menu>Settings>Wireless & networks and it shows 4G is unchecked (dim) with the words "Turning on..."

htc EVO 4G
Android 2.3

Having the same problem. Had no issues with 4G before the upgrade.
