Default My phone been on the charger for hours and won't turn on...

My EVO has been off for the last 6 hours and it will NOT turn on! It has been on the charger since 4pm and not even the red light indicating it is charging will come on. This has happened to me once before but it started working after about 10 hours. It seems like my battery isn't taking a charge. Every once in a while, I will press the power button and the white evo screen will pop up for a fraction of a second and then go off.

Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it if its fixable? My phone is NOT rooted and it is running froyo. Also, my phone has been acting up all this week. Powering off out of nowhere, freezing, and my wifi has been going in and out like crazy.

Do you have a spare battery that you can test?

Yeah, it could be the USB port, which is a common issue with the EVO. But you won't find out for sure until you test w/another battery.

Good luck!
