So I'm having an issue with .avi file viewing

I torrented Sons of Anarchy season 3 [hell yea] and I'm trying to put a few episodes on my phone. I plugged my phone into my computer as a disk drive, dragged and dropped the file into it, and it didn't show up after I ejected and checked.
I figured it might have been put in a weird place on my phones drive so I replugged it in, moved the file to the Downloads folder in my phone, and ejected it again to check.

Nothin. I can't find it on my phone in the videos, downloads, anywhere. Suggestions?

Make sure that the file/s are copying to the sd drive. Windows May be acting like its a CD Burner and wait to Transfer the files. Also make sure your disk is not near the full mark or the file may be to big and windows is cancelling it out

Thanks for the feedback, argedion. I have saved it to the SD drive, and the phone has quite a bit of free space. I use a mac, the latest of the leopard program, and i wait for the sd to prepare and finish transfering before ejecting it. I just wanna watch this awesome show on my phone wherever i am!

try a file manager like astro and search your sd for the file name

i don't often dl movies or vid's so as it looks, avi is not supported...
