Default Internet isn't working on my evo?

I did do the new update for my evo but it has done this before. In the past this happened and I just restart my phone and then it works, but it didn't work this time.... I tried using 4g and wifi and the internet still doesn't work.
I also can use any apps that use internet like Facebook and apps...whats wrong with my phone?

Hi Katie!

I would hazard a guess that you lost your APN settings when you updated. It could be worth speaking to your network carrier and asking them to give them to you... usually these settings can be sent to your phone by text message. Sometimes it is not possible to get them texted to you (I know that my carrier could not text me them when I lost them on my Desire HD, but they were able to talk me through inputting them on my phone).

Hope this sorts your problem out... it's somewhere to start at least - let us know if it doesn't help!

Hey Katie123, hows it going!!!

Before you take it into Sprint, I would try to update your prl and data profile.

Go under menu / settings / updates / update PRL select that and let it do it's thing.
Once that is done, select update profile, once again let it do it's thing.

Also if you have access to a wifi connection, you might need to turn on your wifi to get the data to download. If you get errors, turn on your wifi and try the PRL and data Profile update again.

Hopefully that gets your interwebs back up and running.

I did do the pro updates and some days it worked and other days it didn't. I went to the sprint store and they told me that the only thing they thought would fix it was a factory reset....so now my phone works, i just lost ALOT of stuff!lol
