I purchased a new EVO 4g from Ebay and called Sprint to activate it. The guy told me it was good to go, but when I tried calling out it didn't work. So, I got tech support on it and they couldn't fix it. I looked in About Phone and found that there is someone else's number in there and their user name as well. Does anyone know how to get this information out and put my information in, so the phone will work?

Good Morning and Welcome to AF!
When Sprint and/or tech support was trying to activate your phone, did they have you issue some "##" codes from the dialer?
What message/error do you get when you try calling out?
Do you get a data connection at all?
Do you know if the phone is rooted?--the best way to tell if it is rooted is to post here, the info from the bootloader screen.....to get to that screen, pull the battery, put the battery back in, then while holding the volume down button, push and hold the power button......the screen that comes on is your bootloader screen. Just post back here everything that is written there.

They did issue me a ## code and it didn't work, it kept giving an error. There is no voice or data, when the phone is turned on. Here is the information from the boot loader screen: Supersonic EVT3 ship S-on

hmmm...do you remember what the error was when you issued the ## code?

Edit: if you dont remember try this, go into your dialer, and hit ##data# (##3282#) and what should come up is I believe a prompt for "view mode" or "edit mode"...and if you hit edit mode, you will be prompted for your msl code which you probably do not have and cannot get unless Sprint gives it to you. But you can click on "view mode" and see some more phone info there.
