Default Does the EVO Have A SIM Card?
It just dawned on me hey where is the SIM on this phone or is there one at all?

no sprint phones (save a very select few) carry SIM cards.

htc evo has no sim card its not a gsm. phone its cdma

Most CDMA phones won't have SIM cards right? Thought that was a mostly GSM feature.

Well I thought my Verizon Incredible had a SIM maybe im wrong. I do know my Blackberry Storm2 has a SIM and its CDMA I think.

The HTC Incredible and HTC Evo 4g do NOT have sim card slots.

Very very few CDMA phones are "World Edition" phones.

My friend's old Verizon Blackberry 8800 was dual edge GSM and CDMA device.

Proof of no sim. Teardowns of both devices.

Yes it has a sim card. open the back and remove the battery and you'll see it

server? not sure what you mean. if you are talking about the internet then the evo has wifi capabilities. if you are talking network signals then it works only with cdma technology and the phone is porgrammed to be on sprint. you can root the phone and then program it so that it can be used on verizon's towers if you like. but be warned that if you do, you will run the risk of sprint giving you the boot for doing so.

ok you mean networks. since the evo is a cdma phone you will need to find a provider who has a cdma network. you will also need to have cdma workshop and a donner phone from the provider you wish to be on. now i'm not at all too familiar with all of this.
