Question Pictures into sub folders?!?!

Is there any way to move photos that I have taken into separate folders?

Right now they are just sitting in the "Camera Shots" Album. I would like to be able to create several other albums (i.e. kids, family, friends, pets, etc) to easily access pictures instead of scrolling through 100's.

im sure im not the only one thats wants this cuz its kind of annoying to see all the photos in one album rather then have it all organized.

You can at least hook up to a computer and create folders and move pictures around that way.

I've tied that also, but how do you get the photo program to show those folders instead of the standard ones on the phone?

Create a new folder in the root directory and put subfolders inside. For example, I created a folder called "Pics Organized" and then in that folder I created "Family," "Friends," etc. Then just drag and drop your pics in the correct folders and you'll be good to go! The root folder you create will not show up in the gallery, only the subfolders.

The main directory where all your folders are listed (DCIM, Media, Music, etc.) It is the first directory you see when you connect your phone as a drive. Create the Pics folder in there, and then create whatever categories you want inside that folder.

Actually, you can! I downloaded an app called "ASTRO File Manager." You can create folders, copy & paste pictures, and do anything you want with any file. I just tested it out with some pictures so I know it works. It is a little more time consuming than a using a computer, but it beats nothing.
