Default Has anyone tried HDMI to monitor + bluetooth keyboard + bluetooth mouse?

I was wondering if anyone has tried this combo. Can you plug your phone up to these three things and pop it to a larger screen and use a mouse and keyboard? It would be pretty cool if you could... I see a lot of fun possibilities with that type of setup.

Thoughts?

Having a bluetooth keyboard and mouse wouldn't do any good. The HDMI output can only output video and pictures. I dont know what you would need a keyboard and mouse to watch videos for.

You can't output your screen onto HDMI (yet).

Android doesn't support HID bluetooth, so there is no way to sync a mouse up yet. Hopefully when the Gingerbread version of Android comes out (fingers crossed)

The Freedom Pro Keyboard can use either HID or SPP Bluetooth and its keyboard driver DOES work on the Evo.

I bought a Freedom Pro keyboard and use it for emails and writing on my Evo. I absolutely love it. I even prefer using its hidden phone stand over the kickstand on the Evo. The developers are also VERY interested in supporting users and give great feedback.

I think it would be awsome to have my Evo connected to my TV and have a bluetooth mouse and keyboard while I play some Quake or unreal tournament. Now that would complete the evo x10. Any thoughtS?

Are you using the Freedom Pro beta 2.0 - 2.1 drivers to get it to work with an EVO, or are you using KeyPro drivers?

I got my son's Freedom pro KB to pair and can select it as the input method, but it won't connect. Any idea what i am doing wrong?

I am hoping the guys at XDA will figure out how to make the EVO output its screen to a monitor either thru HDMI or USB

I tried Keypro, but couldnt get them to work. Each time I fiddled with it, I got a little closer... but I never quite got it to work.

I don't remember what ota driver version using. You might want to go to the following

I haven't messed with all the added function let's. Some caused a crash which required me to delete and reinstall the drivers. I know the music and volume controls work

Thumbs up

I got my Freedom Pro Keyboard to work after watching the video. Does a force close if you do not "disconnect" the keyboard from the Driver, before powering the keyboard off.

Mine does not do a force close if I do not disconnect the keyboard from the driver.

I have been able to assign functions to the function keys, but the built-in ones in the row along the left side does not do anything for me.

I have been patiently waiting for Cyanogen to add full, unrestricted HDMI out so with the Freedom Pro keyboard my EVO can function as a mini computer
