Default EVO at night...need only Phone & Alarm (No Notifications) Thoughts?

Ive searched around and really havent seen this directly answered. Im guessing there must be an app that I just havent found, or something on the phone already that can do this.

As a former blackberry user, one of the handiest things about the phone was the ringer profiles. Its the only thing I really miss from my BB. I often work call shifts at night, so I need both the phone to work as well as the alarm...however I would like to turn off the notification sounds from emails/texts/etc.

Is there a quick easy way to do this that Ive simply overlooked?

Many thanks! Loving the phone so far.

There's a power control widget put it on your homescreen and just turn off the sync button, your txt will still come through this but emails and others won't and when you wake up just turn the sync button back on

What I do, is just turn off 3g at night with a toggle switch. That way I only get calls and texts. You can also use a widget called Audio Manager to control individual volumes, and keep the alarm volume up.

I believe there's an app called chronos that allows you to create volume and settings profiles.

Default Tasker

You might want to check out the Tasker application. It's not free but it's really powerful and I think you can probably turn off notifications say from 10:00 PM until 6:am and it would do it automatically.

I use Setting Profiles for a few different situations, but if all you need is a time based option Timeriffic should suffice.

Audio manager - no timer all manual adjustments. separates call, message, alarm, music etc. It's free, but there is a paid pro version if you want to change the look with skins. It's a widget for your home screen.

Actually just got this one, and so far its perfect. I set up my "beautiful widget" clock so that when I touch it it opens the audio manager. So far it seems a quick easy way to change it every night.

Why not just turn off mobile network? Hold the power button for a second, it's the bottom option. Saves on the battery too if you don't plug in overnight.
