Default Is there a way to keep album art out of your Gallery?
I hate seeing my album art in my Gallery. Is there a way to hide it? I tried unchecking some of the things in the gallery settings but nothing works. Any ideas besides deleting it?

Create a file called ".nomedia" without the quotes, and place it in each folder you dont want to show up in the gallery.

this also works for audio clips/files for games, notifications, etc that crawl into your music folder....

While this works great for removing the album art from the gallery It also removes the music from the music app. Is there a way around this?

Default Dump Your Album Art
Strip the mp3 tag on your PC prior to loading it onto the EVO.
I use mp3tag Mp3tag - the universal Tag Editor (ID3v2, MP4, OGG, FLAC, ...)

And dump the folder on the EVO which stores the album art - forgot what it's named but it was the second folder in the EVO's directory.

yes, if the jpg is embedded within the mp3 via the id3 tag, you wont have a jpg on your card.
