Default help!! updated a rooted phone..

I manually updated a rooted htc 4g evo yesterday and it says its still unlocked but it seems like its not rooted when i try to run the wifi tether. Im not really good at this stuff so if someone can please help me fix this a simple step by step would be awesome..

Do you still have custom recovery? If so you can just flash superuser or superSU.

This is what I would do.

You'll want to go here and download "Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip", then flash it through recovery as if it were a ROM. Don't worry, flashing the zip will not erase anything.
