Hi I am new here but i have a couple of questions. I bought my evo shift 4g flashed to boost from amazon so i asked the guy if it was rooted he said no. now my phone keeps checking for firmware update always. I also cannot get mms to work here is everything about my phone...

AN/AAA authentication 2 = failed authentication

I just want to know how to get everything working and how to stop the updates. They told me to stay away from root. Please Help Thanks
