Did you look into the WiFi issue? I really liked this ROM but had to go back because of that.

I honestly have had no problems connecting to wifi. Maybe a bad flash? Try the stable version, and if it isn't working on that, then it's your phone

It's about perfect stable wise. The kernel is still in development though, but basically all the kinks have been worked out.

This might be a stupid question but I see spme people talking about flashing the kernel seperate.....but um if i flash the new beta I dont have to flash the kernel seperate right because its already included? Idk why im uncertain lol. i feel dumb for asking because I am not at all new to this.

My rom currently has version 2.7.2 of the kernel Preinstalled. When a new version of the kernel comes out, you can either wait until I post a new version of my rom with it already built in, or just flash over a few version of the kernel
Not exactly sure what's going on with your phone, but I'm getting over 4300 on quadrant on mine. Did you flash the 2.7.1 kernel right after you flashed the rom?? If you did, check to make sure you are overclocked. Use SetCPU to set your cpu to 1782 Mhz max and I personally use interactive setting and noop settings.
Make sure you don't have any other apps running in the background either. If you are still getting 1000, your phone may be bad. Just an opinion.
no i didn't flash the kernel.. i tried to D/L it but took me to a forum that wouldn't let me grab it.
im flashing with S-on.. do i have to flash the kernel separate? and if so.. where can i D/L the kernel and how would i do that.?
You dont have to flash the kernel separate. just use 4ext or whatever you are using, do a full wipe and install the beta rom which has the newest kernel already preinstalled.

New version is working great. Connected to wifi fine. If you are S-on make sure you extract the boot.img from the rom and flash it via adb before you install the rom.

ROM is very smooth.
im S-on and i flashed with 4EXT just fine... rebooted a few time to get the hickups out of the way.. now it seems to be running great.
I wound up flashing the previous beta last night and then realized that wifi was errored... I went through the process of getting onto Anthrax forums and getting the kernel.
Wiped EVERYTHING, and flashed the previous beta and the 2.7.2 kernel and everything is flawless except for the battery life is a lil up-n-down and can't figure out why.
I will wait for future betas before I flash anything else for a while.
So what settings do you guys recommend in the kernel for best performance and battery (which I know are probably 2 different things!) ? Using the lag free governor right now.

No frills cpu seems to work better than setcpu. Setcpu defaults back to conservative governor with no warning. Stays put with no frills. Running 1674mhz lagfree
I have the beta of the 1.1.3.4 installed on my evo v 4g but every time i go to turn on 4g my phone restarts I was wondering if anyone else is having the issue or if there is a way to fix it where my phone wont restart when turning on 4g

that happened to me once.. but after i rebooted.. it doesn't do it anymore.
Newest version is uploading right now with max overclocking of 1.835 GHZ

Those having wifi issues....
If you can't get it to work after updating, do you have any themes flashed? If you flashed any themes (like the AOSP ICS theme) into the previous release, then you need to flash the updated ROM into the list and the theme before running it, that seemed to be the issue for me, at least.
I am also having the WiFi Error. with the new beta release
UPDATE. My WIFI is fine after flashing the rom the right way.
I Have S-On so i had to
S-ON, extract the boot.img file from the .zip and flash it in fastboot AFTER flashing the rom in recovery, or use 4EXT's "S-ON: 4EXT Smartflash" Feature. See here for more information on this!)

I had the wifi error as well installing the beta. Bought 4EXT and rom runs super with no wifi issues. I have been flashing for a while and I will say it's one of the best recovery's, even if in beta. If you have S-On it is a must.

The aroma script sets up over and under clocking, allows vmsync to be turned on or off, does the various script edits etc needed all in the setup of the kernel. There are default values set that you can start with.
That's what I did. Flashed and I did wipe cache and davlick.
I did an advanced backup of my data and then wiped data and flashed the updated rom, restored data and rebooted. A billion steps that I guess I coulda skipped lol never just flashed over a rom before
anyone notice their 3G kinda spotty?.. i had to reboot my phone to get Data to start working,i had ppl texting me and i wasn't getting them,until i rebooted.. is this a Rom issue?

I've been having that problem to. It might just be network issues.
