Hey, I'm currently in this situation. Multiple attempt to run controlbear only results in "connect device and install drivers"
I cannot see HTC in Device Manager on Windows. I'm stuck, when I try to get into bootloader it gave me a bunch of "no image!" How'd you fixed yours?

If I just boot up the phone it went straight into bootloader. While there, I ran controlbear an it restarts and end up in "connect device and install drivers" and the phone will just stays at the JuopunutBear screen.

Depends what you would like to do, if you want to give up you would want to open command prompt where the control bear folder is you extracted, and run "ControlBear.exe -f" while your phone is in bootloader. That should reset it to where you first started.

If keep going, there could be multiple problems, usb version, HTC sync installed, no htc files installed... I only s-offed today, but i went through 3 hours of hell doing mine, and listening to a list of everything that could be wrong. I also used two different computers. One didn't work when typing commands, phone wasn't reading, and the other did read commands.
