Default Anything available to use Fascinate as media player over car radio?

I'm currently using an old iPod with proprietary cord/tuner for making noise out of my car stereo.

Is there anything out there that I could use with my Fascinate (so I can finally ditch the iPod)? Anything anyone has had good luck with?
I know in the past some of the iPod ones I had used sounded like garbage over the tuner.

edit: Or is it possible that there is an app that turns the phone into an FM transmitter?

My car radio has a jack that accepts the standard headphone jack. I bought a little device at a record store that plugs into the headphone jack of my phone, then plugs in the other end to the plug spot in the car radio. Then the phone plays over the radio when set to AUX, as opposed to FM, AM or SAT, which are the other options.

Sorry, I don't know the name of the product, but it should be easy to find at a place like Radio Shack.

That can't be done by an app because the hardware is not present in the phone. You can buy an FM transmitter, however, and plug it into your phone so it transmits whatever the phone sends out the 3.5mm plug. Even Wal-Mart carries FM transmitters, and some of them plug into the cigarette lighter and provide a USB port for charging the phone simultaneously. However, FM transmitters are a sloppy approach. If you value the quality of your music and/or don't want a lot of cords in the cabin, I recommend you talk to a stereo installer or read and learn better ways to accomplish this.

Another option would be a bluetooth/fm transmitter like the Moto T505. My wife used this in her car that didn't have any aux inputs. It seemed to work well and allowed you to play music via bluetooth as well.

I recently bought an Bluetooth fm transmitter by gogroove flexsmart and I love it! It really works well and has the ability to act as a handsfree method of using the phone as well. Just plugs into the lighter of your car. Make sure to have the media volume all the way up on the device to avoid any static noise coming through the radio. I got mine from Newegg, but here is a link to one available on Amazon.
