Default DI01 Odin Fix-All

http://adrynalyne.us/files/kernels/DI01package3.tar.md5

Flash via PDA in Odin. Use at your own risk, you will be unrooted and fully bloated DI01 after flash. Good for returning to stock, or fixing your breaks.

Please note:

While this should remove Voodoo 4/5 (and anything else), you should take all other paths to remove it first.

Flashes:
Modem
Kernel
System
Recovery

Formats:

So this would bring you basically back to factory including wiping all data as well? So before doing this if we would need to have a TiBU backup to restore some of our data that we may still want correct?

It's nice to have a quick and easy way to flash back to stock. Thanks for the link and instructions. Do you use the usual method of powering down, removing battery, booting with volume down and plugging the phone into the computer, and flashing as described?

Noob question. Do you need to be in download mode to flash the Di01 ROM? I am new to this. I did root my SF and did the clockworkmod, but did not do anything else, ie no voodoo or lagfix or anything. Just trying to get back to stock ROM. But when I run ODIN and select PDA and put in the .tar file it goes through :
<ID:0/003> Added!!
<ID:0/003> Odin v.3 engine (ID:3)..
<ID:0/003> File analysis..
<ID:0/003> Enter CS for MD5..
<ID:0/003> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<ID:0/003> Please wait..
<ID:0/003> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
<ID:0/003> Leave CS..
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..

and then just stays there. So I am wondering if I need to be in download mode. Debugging is on.

If all you did was root and install clockwork then you should be in stock rom? Or do you want to be unrooted also?

Yes, unrooted also, if it will help with the screen going black problem that I have had since the root and clockwork mod? Not sure if it is related or not?

Then yes you need to be in d/l mode. Maybe try to redownload the file because it looks as if you are doing everything correct

Root and cwr alone should not have caused this problem...,it must have been something else

Mine keeps getting stuck at sbl.bin

I flashed a REVolution theme last night over the DL09 superclean rom and my phone wouldn't get past the Samsung screen. So Now i'm trying this to get back to stock by using this method and it isn't working for me

Yes. I was able to do that. I think I am on to something now though. I went back and reflashed CWMrecovery through Odin and i'm now back into my phone at least. Everything seemed to be back to default though, which that isn't too big of deal. I'm now reflashing the DL09 Superclean rom from Adrenaylne? Hopefully everything will work ok after this. It was all good last night until I got over confident and decided to add a theme. lol. Ive been rooted for a while now but never installed any kernels or roms/themes. I decided I would give it a go last night and everything went great until I flashed a theme.....

i will say that if it wasnt for the patience of others when i was learning and their knowledge, i would have been lost and frustrated....android forums is a great place to learn and gather knowledge and has a great group of individuals amongst the various phones.

im sure you ll be paying it forward it no time

All hail adrynalyne!! I wish I had found this a couple of weeks ago, might have saved me some pain (and a trip to the VZW store to fib about what happened to my bricked phone...)

I put this on my phone tonight, let it grab the DL09 OTA update, then rerooted and let Titanium restore my apps and settings. Worked like a charm!

if its still there after 30 minutes, id unplug, battery pull and try again....maybe once every 5 times i do it, it gets stuck there...could be you bumped the usb cord slightly and disconnected briefly or just failed

if you go and restart it, you should be fine

This is the greatest backup of all creation. No matter what you do you will be saved after this. Unless you throw your phone into a volcano.

The odin should only take a few minutes. Something is definitely amiss if you are taking more than 5 minutes

That's a soft brick...no biggie though. Take out the battery, go into download mode and try doing it again.
