DL09 to DJ05

Hi… long time lurker first time posting. Since I am new to the rooting community I have been taking it slow and doing more reading that actual doing. I am rooted, de-binged and de-bloated and for the most part have been happy with whole experience. However, I am finding it frustrating that there are so few ROMs and kernels for those of us that are on DL09 build. At this point what I am trying to figure out is whether or not you can go from DL09 to DJ05 or if that even makes any sense. Any assistance or guidance would be appreciated…

you can, but theres really no reason to go from one to the other....all dj05 themes can be flashed with the theme fix from xda

and adryns super clean 0.4 dl09 is very similar to jts dj05 sc

sonofskywalker has blackhole up to dl09 as well

and kernels from dj05 are compatible on dl09

As nitsuj17 kernels are interchangeable between DJ05 and DL09. There are a couple rom options for DL09.
You absolutely can revert from DL09 to DJ05 but I'd inquire further why you wanna do this. If its for themes like nitsuj17 said you can run any DJ05 theme on DL09 with the theme fix. Basically if what you have works and all I might leave well enough alone as some peeps on DL09 are having a bunch of problems. So if your cwm is fine and dandy you have every kernel choice you would on DJ05 and I dont think there are that many more ROM's on Dj05 than DL09

Thanks for the replies... the only real issue I have been noticing is when the phone is connected via USB; it periodically reboots. It's more annoying than anything else and does not occur when not connected to my PC so I have been living with it.

hmm thats an issue i havent heard of...but if its not a dealbreaker for you id stay put with your current setup until something significantly better is ready
