CWM 3.X Backup Help

I just went from CWM 2.5 to 3.X in order to install the Com Rom. After installing CWM via Odin followed by a modified stock kernel to allow for permanent recovery I tried to do a Nandroid backup in the new recovery before wiping and flashing another Rom. I keep getting an error message that it can't backup and now I'm stuck. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Okay, I just used Odin to flash red 2.5 back over 3.x and it worked beautifully. Was even able to do a nand backup afterwards. Just haven't flashed the new ROM yet because the thread was updated yesterday saying that the version of Swype that is packaged within it is expiring. So until that is fixed I'll just stick with my stock Froyo cause now that I've used Swype, tapping to text is just not an option.

There is expired swype fixes available out there. Check XDA for exp swype and there is .zips you can flash.

Thank you very much, I found the instructions to delete several Swype files using Root Explorer followed by a reboot and a download of the Swype Beta installer... all of which worked perfectly.
