Default Exchange contacts random

Hey guys, need some help figuring out this issue. Boss's fascinate will order contacts (all from exchange 2k10) inconsistently. Some are Last, First and some First, Last.

He is unrooted and on 2.1 (I'm guessing Sammy STILL hasn't released Froyo).

Aside from using a 3rd party app like Moxier or Touchdown, what can I do to organize these contacts properly, or is it a bug with 2.1?

FWIW, the contacts are all proper and correct in Outlook.

I believe Android ignores the File As field in outlook. So if the names are goofed up in the Name field that is what you get. Outlook uses the File As field to sort. Hope that helps.
