Fast Food Talk/What do you like on the menu?

This morning I went to a place called Carls Jr. and had one of their breakfast things on the menu. A sausage egg and cheese biscuit. It was very good and they gave me two of them. Bonus!

Favorite thing so far on their breakfast menu. What's yours?

What, no bacon?!

I try not to eat too much, but when I do I go back and forth with Five Guys and Z Burger (a local chain).
Get the same thing at both which I can recite in my sleep:
"Grilled cheese with lettuce, tomato, raw onion, jalapenos and mayonnaise and a regular fry"
Don't really eat meat at FF joints.

We have some "fancified" FF places here also. Chipotle is the benchmark for service/quality. Here's a couple good ones I frequent:
Cava Mezze Grill
ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen
(the latter actually a concept by the owners of Chipotle who only opened up one for whatever reason in DC. It's really good and the tofu is no joke spicy!)

Nice! Carls Jr. has burgers with bacon also.

I've had Five guys and they are pretty good. I'll have to see if I have those places so I can check them out one day.

Doubt you have either. One is a one off and the other is only in the DC metro area.
Don't you have In n Out where you are? I miss that place to death, but thankfully Five Guys is able to fill my needs.

We do have In and out, but it's in Frisco unfortunately.

I have heard it's better than five guys actually.

Uh oh, don't open that can of worms!

It's been about 8 years since I've had In n Out, so I can't really comment well. I remember them being a bit more consistent with their fries which 5G is horrible with, and they have pretty decent shakes.

Yeah, their shakes are good as well as Carls. I also have ate at a place called Zaxby's which has good Chicken strips and fries.

Seen a Zaxby's before (in the South somewhere?) but have never been.
My favorite pizza chain growing up (in MA) was Papa Gino's. Absolutely. loved. it.

I'm sure if I try it now I'd probably be pretty disappointed, but when I was a kid it was heaven.

I love pizza! Ever have Little Cesar's? They're pretty good and cheep too.

Never had papa gino's before, but you should give it another go and see if you still like it.

Haven't had Little Caesars in forever (and only a couple times in my life), so can't remember. We generally go between Dominos and Pizza Hut. Neither all that great, but I generally go for the latter since I prefer their "deep dish" pies. Plus, smother enough ranch dressing on the slices and throw back a couple beers and who can tell the difference.

Wings are great to have with a pizza sometimes IMO. Have some wings with some ranch... yum!

Not sure about Pizza Huts, but Dominos wings are really good especially for a pizza place. One of my favorite drunk foods is Domino's wings and cheesy bread

. I don't know if I'd consider Five Guys fast food, but they are decent. I guess my favorites would be Hardees (which is basically the same as Carl Jr's), KFC, Wendy's and Arbys. Hardees breakfast is just as good as, if not better than, McDonald's except for McDonald's steak egg and cheese bagel. That is the bomb.

There is nothing like a good crispy tripe sandwich...Red Robbins have some pretty good gourmet style burgers also.

Don't know what Bento, or Parmo are, so please educate me.
As for burgers, In and Out are amazing, Five guys are incredible, and I like Freddies really well too. We also have a Fuddruckers here that makes pretty tasty burgers to order, as well.

Arby's French dip n Swiss is pretty good, Marco's Pizza is good, don't know how widespread they are. There's a chain around here called Cousin Vinnies Pizza that's open till like four in the morning, and their pizza is always hot, fresh, tasty and cheap. Perfect drunk food lol. No In n Out around here, but we do have Five Guys. Bacon and grilled mushroom burger please. Damn, now I'm hungry.

Parmo fella is a delacasy of the north east england (Middlesbrough) to be exact, Its chicken in breadcrums deep fried with bechamel sauce on the top and then cheese on the top of that. And then grilled propa nice only problem is its got like 3000Kals in one lol. They are selved with chips and salad and Garlic and chilli sauce ,

I love the Burger King double hamburger. (No "cheese"; that's not cheese!) It's on the dollar menu now, but I payed upwards of $4.00 each for them in the past.

I inadvertently discovered a flaw in the Burger King computers when I ordered a double hamburger with nothing but extra ketchup. It was impossible to enter that combination! It's fixed now, and my favorite burger is now probably the cheapest source of protein around.

I like anything that's not healthy or good for you.
If there's a grease burger, run it with plenty of cheese, bacon, and a cholesterol milk shake on the side.

The Baconator is a bit of an overload on meat and grease for me. I need some toppings to break things up. I'll take a Big Bacon Classic, though.

The closest I get to fast food these days is a slice of pizza. I don't do McDonald's or Burger King anymore, but I would eat Wendy's if there was one close to my house/office.

Big fan of their Fresco style soft tacos, but every so often will get a Meximelt or Nachos Bellgrande.

When I go to McDonald's it's only for breakfast, Sausage McMuffin please. Can't eat their burgers anymore for some reason.

At Wendy's I'll get the spicy chicken sandwich w/ a small chili.

I just can't eat at Burger King anymore, I find their restaurants to be just dirty & gross. Haven't eaten their in years.

I get bean burrito nachos bell grande minus meat and sometimes I order a crunchy taco extra lettuce extra cheese no meat and tons of fire sauce...

was just on vacation and everyone wanted mcdonalds and I was starving..plus I wanted the creepy barbie dance doll thingy that came with the Happy meal

so I ordered a cheeseburger happy meal...took off the meat...loaded it with french fries instead..was probably the best burger I ever had there!!!!ha!

and I was in a silly mood so I asked to speak to the "McManager"hahaha
