Can you wipe everything ahead of time (cache data system) reboot to make sure they're gone (you will loop if done correctly)
then go to recovery and then flash?

Same thing as before. Acts like everything went fine and does nothing. Doesn't boot after a manual full wipe.

I've always doubted the cwm port, it wasn't built specifically for our phone, it was just made so the basic functions worked. We'd have a better chance if someone built cwm specifically for our phone.

Its compiling now, just flash it, reboot, take a screenshot of you doing a benchmark, you can get setcpu for free from:

I can't compile it (my comouter's too old), but I can make changes to the already compiled recovery.img. I may need to take a look since I'm not the only one worried about it.

I always just use kernel tuner. You can lock both cores on that way.

Okay, just as a precaution I don't recommend using full 2.1 all the time, also...rename the file /etc/thermald.conf --> thermald.conf.bak to avoid issues

But the command to be issued is:
"dd if=/sdcard/auroraOC.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/boot"

Here's the file:
http://s463927618.onlinehome.us/android/zte/19OC.img

do:
"dd if=/sdcard/19OC.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/boot"

then reboot

Here's the file:
http://s463927618.onlinehome.us/android/zte/19OC.img

do:
"dd if=/sdcard/19OC.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p15"

then reboot
It'll stick

I need this tested:
http://s463927618.onlinehome.us/android/zte/recovery-fixed.img

DO NOT FLASH TO RECOVERY PARTITION

Flash it to boot @ "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/boot"
This will cause your phone to automatically reboot to MY recovery while leaving your earlier recovery intact (leaving you a way to restore your phone)

REBOOT AND LEAVE IT AND LET IT BOOT TO MY RECOVERY, DO NOT HOLD VOL KEYS AS THIS WILL REBOOT TO OTHER RECOVERY (your main recovery) AND YOU CANT TELL THE DIFFERENCE

Basically, install my recovery, and restore your stock backup. If it restores correctly (which it will), your phone will boot as normal.
