Default usb tethering / host

I don't know what this involves editing/writing to, but these are some features I would like to see implemented/working.
I tried USB Host once with a USB controller and this phone doesn't have USB Host enabled.

thats a kernel issue, ZTE disabled it. It can be added back some point down the road.

That's already an option availiable now as that's all application level software. As long as your rooted I'm sure there are a few apps out there with USB tethering capabilities

I couldn't find one. I was hoping to see it at system level.

Tethering through the system settings is a huge issue. Ive tried and it was wven done on the sequent once but it reports you to boost

I will however enable native tethering in cm10.1 when its a bit more stable

That was the warp though. Gingerbread... this is ics just like the original sequent rom. Good luck but be warned, the only tethering built in to the sequents rom notified boost and got people in trouble
