Not difficult .Some themes just require png's and targets in zips .ADW needs to be done in eclipse but is relatively straight forward .

I've always used a template. Lots of replacing png files and a little XML work if needed (usually isn't).

Yeahha doesn't have the png files for an anime girl theme and would be more interested in doing a One Piece theme or something based around a specific series.

Would you be wanting to make a CM theme apk or a flashable zip?

Yes but I would want to work with a specific app to use a different background for each home screen and use a pic of luffy as the stock theme wallpaper to make it gomu gomu no homescreens

I think the CM7 apk is the easier one personally but once you do it making a flashable zip is almost as easy as well since it is still png replacement in an apk

Depends on what you want to convert . I had an free avi to png program ,but will have to search the unknown depths since it was beyond D7 in my comp
