Okay, so I got my G1 for Christmas. The first thing I notice is the lack of the 3.5 mm headphone adapter that the G1 is supposed to ship with. I conclude that I must recieved an older one that was purchased from a retailer. No big deal..... But a few days go by and I start noticing all of the little things I read people complaining about...creaking, screen wobble, battery cover doesn't sit right...all that. So I think to myself: This must be because it's an older one...I'll just get it replaced by the manufacturer.
So I call and they agree to replace the phone....but without the battery cover. Huh? That was one of my main complaints....
So two questions:
1) Does anyone know why this is?
2) Where can I get another battery cover?

sorry man it seems this forum is a bit slow at responses.

1. I have NO IDEA why that is.

2. they are kind of expensive but hey you could get a white one and show odd with it

there are also extended back covers for huge extended batteries but I'm not sure if that's what you wanted.
