G1 rom flash help!!
Hi, I'm pretty much a noob to both android mods and to the forums but i'm a die-hard android lover.I hope i can get some help. I have a Tmo G1 Running Stock Donut, Build DMD64 with root and superuser . i did this yesterday and i double checked i have root access. I rooted and i want to install CyanogenMod 6. I used ROM Manager to backup, flash clockwork 2.5.0.7, and download CM 6.0 stable. I wiped data and cache when it prompted me and rebooted into recovery but everything is installed except it says partition apps2sd not found and keeps going till it finishes and when it reboots (onto the ROM i guess) it stays at the G1 Logo and i have to restore my stock ROM . I dn't know what im doing wrong and dnt know if i need a differnt kernel or to partition or what! I would really appreciate a bit of a walkthroughand tips. Thanx in advance.
