Default G1 stuck on Cyanogen Screen after flash

Could not get computer nor phone to recognize SD card after following all steps to upgrade at Cyaogen's site. Took SD card and put all files on it from an SD reader. (everything but the ROM had been installed prior to this step). Was able to flash Cyanogen Mod 6 without errors, but on the reboot the screen just stays with the Cyanogen logo. LEft overnight, and still on same screen. We can get into recovery mode, unsure what to try next.

Default

I had the same problem when I flashed CM6.1 a few days ago. I solve it by going into recovery and wipe/reset to factory then flash CM again.

Hope this helps.
