The phone has WM 6 with a I think a 520mhz processor. Would I be able to put Android on this phone?

Is there anything I can do about this? Anything in the future on installing Android on a phone that originally had WM5 or 6? Please I don't want the G1.

That's what I am hoping for because I'm not running to T-Mobile to get a G1.

Ha! Installing Android on another device is probably more hassle than its worth. You'll probably have to wait for OpenMoko, Asus, Motorola, Samsung, LG, etc... to get their goods out.

OpenMoko is rumored to have something coming out in November. Check phandroid.com for the post.

Default loading ANDROID on my phone

Hi all,

I have several generic chinese 3G mobile phones that are currently
running Windows CE 6.

I wan to load Android on one of these.

Where do I download android for this function?

How do I change the OS on my current phone?
Do I need special access to the phone?

Thanks

You just have to remember this is an Open source OS.

1. Can it be installing into different phones?
Yes it can if specs of the phones are available, CPU, GNU, Controllers ETC

2. How long?
Open source community working together I will say couple of months or a year depends on specs

Remember Linux systems is a work between a community possibilities are endless
