turn off the phone then

then open up the QWERTY keyboard and hit “Alt+W” and it will then be restored to factory settings.

yea i have someones g1 with the same issue and i got to the restore where it started the restore and it shuts off.... like wtf?!?!?!? i mean i assume the person gave it to me with a full battery but who knows.... it could be just dead... but i would like to know if its an actual issue not just it being about dead...
