Unusual SMS Problem - Help Needed!
ive encountered a strange issue with my G1 on T-Mobile UK.
i text a friend the other day, however forgot to add the + to the front of the number (therefor only sent to 44*****blahblahblah instead of +44).
I recieved a message from "Network MSG" stating it was an incorrect number. Fair enough.
add the plus, and all is good. the message is recieved fine.
So i now have this number appear in a conversation thread.
However....
When my friend replies, a NEW conversation thread is created called 44******** instead of +44*******.
when attempting to reply in this new thread, the phone attempts to send to 44**** instead of +44, even though the contact is saved within the phone with the + on their number.
the only way to reply is to go into the OTHER conversation thread and reply there, however obviously doesnt show their texts, as they are stored in another conversation of just her texts.
Strange issue?!
Ive deleted the number from my phone, deleted ALL messages on my phone, uninstalled chomp SMS and STILL no luck?
Any help would be greatly appriciated!
