I just purchased my t-mobile G1 today. I'm new to android phones so bear with me and my noob status.

Several apps are missing from the Android marketplace even when I search for them specifically. (Ex: facebook, myspace, pandora radio, slacker radio)

I tried searching for them, nothing.

Can anyone clue me in as to why this is happening? Am I missing an update?

My firmware says it's version 1.1 and the my current build number is 1.1. PLAT-RC33

Please help. :-)

Not a problem, you just need to get yourself updated to the most current version of the operating system available. You can play it safe, and wait for them to come over the air, or you can hunt around for the 1.5 update, install it; then the 1.6 update and install it.
