I know how to do Menu -> Add -> Application to get shortcut icons onto the main home screen of my G1. What I'm wondering is if there's a way to move some of those icons to the second home screen if the first home screen is not full.

I have tried to drag an icon to the left of the main home screen, but I can't get it to move into the second home screen.

Is this even possible?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Yes just drag to very edge and hold it there for a couple of seconds .... it can be touchy until you learn it ...

Another idea...just go to the left/right home screen you want the icon on, and then create the shortcut, it will be on the screen you intended that way.

Took me a while to do, just keep it hovering at the edge like some others said.

Then u will get the hang of it.

Thanks, this is the answer I was looking for (more than 2 years after the original postings!).

I had created a specific new file (and icon) and filled it with my own shortcuts, so was disappointed when the whole thing drifted 2 panes over.

I could not simply just re-create the whole thing. Glad I found the answer!
