Talking new APN after cupcake *SOLVED, no further support required*

PROBLEM SOLVED, thank you for your patience

Hi,

I've just received my G1 and it works fine on T-Mob and wifi.
As soon as I've turned on the cupcake upgrade prompted and installed.

My problem is that I'd like to add a new APN but even if I start the G1 in safe mode there is no way to save the APN for other network. I can enter all the parameter but after save the only apn in the list is t-mob...

Vodafone and lebara sims works and I can call but no gprs nor sign in Google.
I've planned to go abroad and I'd like to use it with a local sim...

Any suggestion? Is it just cupcake or the phone has to be modified? I've checked the faq but no clue..

Thanks for your help

Unhappy

I've read on code.google.com that cupcake doesn't support multiple apn !
Too late , already updated...
Time to roll back or any other solution in view??

Default Solved

I've managed to bypass the cupcake block and now I've full acess to create new APN.
It works ok with Vodaphone contract, T-mob PAYG and Lebara PAYG.

In case someone is looking for this solution... how did you bypass it?

I have the Hero ROM and can do it so I'm wondering if you did it by rooting and upgrading?
