mmi code invalid or connection problem

hi hope someone can help!

all my numbers on my phone come up unknown when they call so i dont know who it is, if i go into call log again all are unknown and if i press on them a notification comes up saying connection problem or invalid mmi code. its only recently started to do this but its a real pain because i need to ignore my x girlfriend lol. please help, it would be so much appreciated. thanks.

I basically registered to say I have the same problem (well that, and my phone stopped syncing gmail too, but thats an issue for later). This is really starting to get to be a bother, and pretty much the only issue I have with the phone. Any ideas?

I'm on Telus (Canada) and discovered that placing a 1 in front of the 10-digit phone number in the contacts helps display the proper contact info on an incoming call. Using the 1+ phone number when dialing out is not a problem even if dialing locally. This will probably help if you are in North America as 1+ is the long distance prefix.
