i got 79.0 FPS from Neocore.

Here are my pics of Quadrant , AnTuTu bechmarking results :
Oh! awesome!
i got stable on 806 but wenever i swith to 806 i get atleast 1 reboot wen using some benchamrking or apps.
now chking on 787....looks stable but got 2 reboots till now...it's been like 4 hrs now.
also i found this interesting...at 806 i got a antutu score of1900
but at 787 i got 2000 on antutu...i suggest u too to try at various lower frequencies. Also how is the battery drain at 825?

roofrider and manishgade,

Well roofrider the drain isn't much stronger when i'm on 825mhz. I played a game whole day and when i needed to go to bed it finally shut down So the battery drain is normal. Slightly stronger but not as noticable

manishgade i'm happy with CM7. Since it's an awesome ROM you can customize almost everything and the OverClocking kernels work for CM7 So i suggest CM7

P. S - Some news i will try to port the MIUI ROM to our galaxy mini. I don't promise anything but maybe the devs of MIUI will finish it or i will finish it

Thanks a lot Netas3K I m going to flash CM7 very soon as per your guidance, I hope I do it correctly... any way one of my friend who is having GT S5570 flashed Vanilla ROM by Parasmi and I was very impressed with the look and feel of the themes.... but I would like to go one step beyond and have a better ROM which will handle many things without any restrictions... I trust your opinion and will go accordingly...... wish me luck.... and give any important suggestions if you have missed any please please..

Thanks

griffin2,

The current CWM doesn't support rfs filesystem witch andro - id and stock roms use. So you can't backup your system unless you have CM7

It can backup ROMs. I can backup my CM7 and i did.

The CWM is required to install custom ROMs the stock recovery can't do it ...

If he has the CWM from tj then yes he can flash it just fine but i recommend to flash the CWM in the CM7 page just in case. I'm having great experience with CM7 and OC. No problems with the mic camera and headset.

I'm responsible for any damage done by these ROMs

I had some problems with my Phone with the Service... So i couldn't connect to my internet.

griffin2,

USB Tethering can be fixed with a third party app. Found here : android-wired-tether - Wired Tether for Root Users - Google Project Hosting . Try to search for instructions there if you won't find them i will try to install that

manishgade,

The CM7 i installed for some reason had Google Apps (like market, gmail, google sync...) . Because google asked CM7 to remove google apps from CM&. So if your CM7 won't have Google Apps download them from here : http://cmw.22aaf3.com/gapps/gapps-gb-20110613-signed.zip . Tell me if they work.

And there are themes for CM7 so you can change the design of it

Here's mine :

manishgade,

1) The FM Radio driver couldn't be ported to the CM7 so there is or will be any radio.

2) I don't understand thsi part repeat it and explain it more.

3) Hold the power button and there you will see a menu and there will be a Screen Shot option

4) I use QQPlayer and i'm happy with it but i opened with it only .avi files.

5) When you register you won't get a response

Hope this helps you

griffin2,

Do you have the KIES installed on your Win7 to have the drivers for the connection? If you don't install KIES and try then I use Wireless Hotspot function

Yes it did helped me a lot... SAD that no FM radio on CM7.. is there any possibility or any other way to have FM radio (Tuner) on our device running CM7... and yes QQplayer is awesome... I used Rockolayer before but this one is really good looking... Thanks for your screenshot regarding tip... As I said when I turn wifi on I do not get any network my device just shows status as scanning...???. I also wish to know as what is the difference between Theme Chooser (application installed in device) and the one in ADW settings as Theme preference... I have installed many themes from market but they do not show up in Theme chooser ... while the themes like NT sense installed from .apk file is showing in theme chooser...?? how do I get those themes listed in theme chooser.... ????

Many thanks

griffin2,

Please stop double posting on here and on CM7 forum in XDA. Ask help either from me or from them cause if you get help from there, it's no need for me to post the answer....

manishgade,

As i said the drivers for the FM Radio couldn't be ported to CM7 so there will be NO RADIO. The theme chooser changes the theme on the whole system (system bar, icons and etc.). The theme option on ADW settings changes the theme on the Launcher

And the themes you downloaded from the market isn't for the CM7's Theme Chooser

Netas3k, Thanks and Nice... one... so would you please share the source of getting good CM7 themes ... as I do not like the signal and data signal bar in green... and which is the good launcher to have from Go launcher ex, Launcher pro, ADWlauncher pro, zeam launcher etc... (I like Go launcher's look) and which launcher are you using....? Can a theme meant for ADW launcher be applied in any other launcher and vice versa.... ??

ha ha ha.... yes a learner always have questions for his master.... I only refer my questions to you and not elsewhere as I know you have adequate knowledge of CM7 and the only one who has started this thread... It was your support that I could install CM7 and also guide some of my friends so we all are very thankful to you.. really

ok, i've tried installing andro-id rom by reading instructions from XDA and i was successful in flashing with andro-id, and i managed to overclock to about 700 something mhz but the problem was i can only overclock if there is no application on the sd (hope i'm right) once i tried installing angry birds on my sd and rebooted my mobile and it was stuck at boot animation i tried to go back to 600 mhz in recovery but no use, i re-flashed using odin back to stock rom, i want to know weather in CM can i overclock without need to put all my apps only in phone memory only?

Dude you didn't have to erase your whole SD Card to OverClock. But Andro - ID overclocking kernels not working quite well. CM overclocking kernels work. And i didn't need to erase the whole SD Card. Just remember to do wipe data/cache after flashing the ROM

I didn't mean to wipe the sd card, I came to know from XDA that in andro-id we can't have apps on sd card if we want to overclock, is it the same way in CM too? I know that we should only wipe the cache/data from recovery.

Actually in Andro - ID there already is DarkTremor Apps2SD setup. So you can have apps on SD without even doing something. But the OverClocking kernels doesn't work properly so.....

The new patch is a fix for the mic that some users are having. If everything works correct for you. You don't have to flash it. But i recommend to install it. When the .zip file or .apk file is signed you can be sure that the files is made by the author and it's ok. And that there are no viruses or something else
