Galaxy note notifications

Hi.

I recieved my Galaxy Note yesterday. It's great but I can't seem to get any sound on notifications (phone is not on silent) I have selected the whistle for notifications but for some reason, the sounds has stopped working when i receive a notification. It only vibrates.

It was working and when someone calls - that works fine. I'm not sure whats going on, please help

Have you tried this:

SETTINGS>SOUND>VOLUME

Make sure the notification volume bar is turned up.

Dear all,

Galaxy Note is no doubt the best phone ever but currently i'm having some ringtone issues with it. My problem is the ringtone that i set keeps switched back to Samsung default ringtone and weird thing is there's no problem with my sms ringtone.

Also my sms ringtone is very loud (which cover the caller's voice) whenever there's incoming sms during phone calls.

I hope there's a solution on this matter. Thanks in advance!
