Stock 2.3.6 - rooted - safe to update to ICS?

Hey guys.

Right now I'm at GB 2.3.6

I am rooted - on stock ROM. No other mods done.

Is it safe to just update to ICS via Kies?

Yes it's safe, and your phone will remain rooted!!!
