Default Kernel Support?

I'm currently running shabbymod 0.9 on a Samsung Galaxy Prevail with CWM-based recovery.

I tried to "install from zip" both shabby's and hoarks kernel. After it tells me that everything is completed, i reboot, open SetCPU, check under info, and find that the kernel is still the same on either one (26.32.9).

IF one of these kernels was to be flashed, what would it read? Also, what could be preventing the kernels from being flashed? Both were placed on the SD card in zip folders. Thanks for any info!

Default

That's the kernel version. Many different kernels could be built on the same base.

You should check settings>about phone to see the kernel mod version
